I guess for now I have to follow I have to follow closely
along your aching hearts side
I’m standing steady perched upon your shoulder
swallowing all my pride
The innocence thats lost forever quickly to the illusionary fate
encouraging a world thats so much colder the temperature you can’t debate
but if the answer is, what could I tell you? But if the question is, how could I show?
I guess I know too much, I guess I know too much, too much
Now in the darkness of erased self loathing
the only secret place to hide
fully encumbered in the face thats showing thats pushing it all aside
the mixed emotion pulls forever downward
into a pit of ones defeat
although you see the light the hole is too big
from which you cannot retreat
but if the answer is, what could I tell you? But if the question is, how could I show?
I guess I know too much, I guess I know too much, too much
Now with the work begun I’ve come to know that, someday this process will cease
and from the ruins the burden is lifted to signify my release
but until then I walk on eggshells lightly, while knowing that the day will come
when all my light will finally shine so brightly and all of the world can have some
but if the answer is, what could I tell you? But if the question is, how could I show?
I guess I know too much, I guess I know too much, I guess I know too much, I guess I know too much, I guess I know too much, I guess I know too much, too much.
This was not what I expected! I thought this was a pop group (first time hearing this band) but I had to eat my hat because my assumption was so wrong. If you are a fan if complex piano layers, check this out! Also, the bassist and drummer are insane in here. I choked hearing one of the riffs it was that good! nvan92
